Trusting in Enough

The Full Moon is coming up, shining a spotlight on all we have been working toward and inviting us to look back on our journey with a sense of gratitude. In this phase, self-reflection is key. The full moon encourages us to reframe our mindset from scarcity to gratitude and to recognize the courage it has taken to face financial and personal challenges along the way. When we approach these moments with a spirit of gratitude, we shift our energy toward sufficiency, creating an inner space where financial fears can be acknowledged, understood, and released.

Tarot Guidance

The Moon card in tarot represents our subconscious landscape, often bringing to the surface the fears, doubts, and insecurities that lie beneath our awareness. This card calls us to explore these hidden emotions with curiosity instead of judgment. When we’re thinking about financial well-being, the Moon highlights the role of subconscious beliefs in shaping our attitudes toward money, often tied to deeply rooted needs for safety and security.

In the context of scarcity mindsets, the Moon’s energy may bring up patterns of emotionally driven spending or saving, highlighting the instinct to seek security through money. This impulse, while understandable, often masks a deeper need for emotional support and security. The Moon warns us not to let these fears pull us down, but to trust the Universe and ourselves.

In contrast to the introspective energy of the Moon, the Empress tarot card embodies fertility, creativity, and abundance. She is the archetype of growth, prosperity, and fulfillment, representing the natural, flourishing energy that arises when we trust in the cycles of life. The Empress encourages us to recognize and celebrate the abundance that already surrounds us, reminding us that, like a well-tended garden, our lives have the potential to bloom and thrive when we care for them mindfully.

The Empress teaches that abundance is not something to be chased or hoarded but is instead a natural state that flows when we embrace generosity, gratitude, and self-care. In the realm of finances, she encourages us to adopt a mindset that focuses on growth through sustainability and trust rather than fear. Instead of clinging to resources or operating from a place of scarcity, the Empress asks us to open up to the wealth that comes from a balanced and trusting approach to life.

Astrological Influence

In astrology, the Fourth House is often associated with home, family roots, and foundational experiences of security. It is here that we encounter early family conditioning around financial beliefs, which may shape our adult perceptions of scarcity or abundance. If financial fears have been inherited from family patterns or cultural conditioning, they can create a subconscious attachment to money as a measure of safety and well-being.

When I was a kid, my mom stressed about money a lot, telling me specifically about her anxiety and our financial situation. As a kid, I didn’t understand the complexities that she was dealing with, all I knew was that spending money upset my mom, so I changed my behavior accordingly. I learned her scarcity mindset and spent years scared of being a burden on my parents or anyone else. The fears my mom passed down to me impacted me for a really long time, and it took work to heal them.

The Fourth House reminds us that our sense of home and stability begins within. By consciously creating a foundation based on personal values rather than societal or familial expectations, we cultivate a peaceful and resilient mindset that supports long-term financial well-being. To start, reflect on family beliefs about money and consider which ones you wish to retain or release.

Questions to ask yourself this week:
How can I embrace the belief that abundance is not just possible but inevitable in my life journey? What financial anxieties or illusions do I need to face to move forward with clarity?

Next week is the last of this cycle, and I’ll be sharing some of the harmful beliefs I’ve held about money, and how they influenced me as a budding entrepreneur. I’ve learned a lot since then, and I hope my testimony (and a ritual for releasing) can help you let go of scarcity mindset and feel confident in what you deserve and what the Universe is bringing to you.

Meditation Guide

This meditation is designed to help you cultivate a mindset of gratitude and abundance by guiding you through a deep reflection on the blessings already present in your life. Inspired by Eckhart Tolle’s quote, “Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance,” the meditation encourages you to connect with the love, joy, and support you currently experience. By focusing on what you’re thankful for, you build a strong foundation for receiving even more positivity and abundance.

To begin the meditation, find a quiet, comfortable place where you can sit or lie down undisturbed. Start by taking a few deep breaths, letting go of any thoughts or worries as you exhale, and grounding yourself in the present moment. As you continue breathing, gently bring your attention to your heart center. Place your hands on your chest, imagining a warm, golden light glowing there, symbolizing love and gratitude. Allow your breath to flow in and out through this space, connecting deeply with the gratitude you feel for the good in your life.

From this place of inner peace, visualize what you desire to bring into your life, seeing it as though it has already happened. This visualization allows you to not only focus on your intentions but to feel the emotions tied to their fulfillment. By acknowledging the abundance that’s already with you and holding gratitude for what you wish to manifest, you align yourself with a state of openness, allowing positive energy to flow into your life.
